LWF KICKSTARTER

The Lightning Wrestling Federation (LWF) is an online wrestling league that utilizes the WWE 2K games as its medium.  LWF allows gamers and fans of wrestling entertainment, the platform to create their ideal wrestler and work their way through the ranks to become a LWF Superstar.  Unlike career modes within a video game, LWF’s syndicate wrestlers are all original and made of actual online gamers.  Our goal is to provide competitive gamming along with entertaining and challenging wrestling shows.  We provide monthly live “Pay-per-view esque” events via Twitch for our fans’ enjoyment. Current LWF members are located throughout U.S.A. and Europe. Our promotion will allow fans to interact with the wrestlers through social media, have input into upcoming matches and “Pay-Per-View” events.

LWF was created by Phil Bennington an avid gamer, musician and professional wrestling fan.  When Phil is not working toward his degree, attending live wrestling events or conducting his radio show “The Lightning Round”, which focused on all things professional wrestling, he is gaming.  Originally part of smaller online wrestling gaming groups, he along with some of his friends wanted to take it to a new level.  They wanted to provide a platform where one can use their gaming skills and fulfill their wrestling dreams.  The LWF has grown over the last few months and currently has 35+ wrestlers, 6 tag-teams, 3 Championships and monthly live shows via Twitch. Over the next 12 months our goal is to increase the number of members and start a Women’s Division.  We also look to increase our number of viewers each month, providing them with a fantastic Esports entertainment experience.
